In short
Remoneo uses technical cookies and local storage that are necessary to run the website and the application; these are always active.
Analytics and marketing tools (PostHog for analytics; Google Ads for measuring advertising campaign conversions; Meta Pixel for advertising, when active) load ONLY after your explicit consent, collected through the banner and the preferences center. Without consent they stay fully disabled.
The client portal (the document-upload pages reached through the professional's link) contains no analytics or marketing tools at all.
What we use (always active)
Authentication session: the authentication system keeps your session token in browser local storage to keep you signed in. Necessary: without it the private area cannot work.
Language preference: your chosen language (IT/EN) is stored in local storage.
Consent choice: we store in local storage which cookie categories you accepted or rejected, with date and consent version, so we do not ask on every visit.
Interface state: minimal values in local storage, such as dismissing the onboarding checklist or a pending beta invite code.
Paddle checkout: during payment the Paddle.js script is loaded and may set technical and anti-fraud cookies needed to complete the transaction securely. See the Paddle privacy notice (https://www.paddle.com/legal/privacy).
Google Drive: connecting your storage happens through OAuth on Google domains, which may set their own technical cookies during authorisation.
Analytics (consent only)
With your consent we use PostHog to understand in aggregate how the public website and the application are used: pages visited, visit origin (UTM parameters), key actions such as requesting Beta access, signing up, or creating a document request. Session replay and form autocapture are disabled; we never send PostHog your email, name, VAT number, file names or document contents.
IP addresses are anonymised and we do not collect user identifiers. Data is not used for advertising under this category.
Provider: PostHog, hosted on PostHog Cloud EU infrastructure. Cookie lifetime and data retention: as configured in the PostHog project (to be verified and stated here before production rollout).
Marketing (consent only)
With your consent we enable advertising measurement tools such as the Google Ads conversion tag (Google Ireland Limited) and, when configured, the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) to understand whether a campaign led to a CTA click, Beta request, sign-up or subscription.
These tools do NOT load before consent and are NOT present in the private area or in the client portal.
We do not sell or share personal data with ad networks beyond what is needed to measure campaigns we run.
Managing preferences
You can change or withdraw consent at any time from the “Cookie preferences” link in the site footer: the change is immediate and prevents the disabled tools from loading afterwards.
You can also clear cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies and local storage prevents sign-in and checkout from working.
Updates
If we add new analytics or marketing tools in the future we will update this page and, where required, ask for a new consent before enabling them.
